Happy 25th Birthday to World Book Day UK.
Millions of children across the UK over the past 25 years have discovered a love of reading and stories. It is great to support World Book Day again this year and I have enjoyed seeing children across Aldridge-Brownhills dress up as their favourite characters and share their favourite books.
The pleasure of reading is powerful for children and adults alike and this year its as important as ever to take some time out and read a good book, get lost in a good story and share the love of reading with those around us.
