Summer recess is a good time to prepare work for when Parliament returns, but equally important it’s a chance to get out and about, meet with residents, community groups and businesses and listen to your views.

Last week I held a number of Pop Up Surgeries across the constituency. These were well received and as ever are both enjoyable and very helpful to me in picking up and discussing local issues. What matters to local residents matters to me – be that the green belt campaign I have launched, litter and fly tipping, or crime and policing.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop and speak to me and my team. If you missed me and have an issue then please do not hesitate to get in touch with me at wendy.morton.mp@parliament.uk

Throughout the summer there have been a number of events happening across the constituency which I have also attended and I am looking forward to attending several more before Parliament resumes in September.
