Thank you to all those who hosted my visit to Walsall Manor Hospital and took the time to show me around some of the recent developments.
My visit included a tour around the Emergency Department to see how the work is progressing to provide additional capacity, before heading to the new Midwifery-Led Unit (MLU).
The MLU has moved next to the hospitalās Maternity Unit, meaning more birth choices can be offered to more women. In the week when the MLU marked the arrival of their 100th baby it was a special time to visit. Thank you everyone.
