Crime and anti-social behaviour are among the issues residents raise with me most often, so I was pleased to meet with Walsall Borough Commander, Chief Superintendent Sam Batey, and her team in Bloxwich.
We had a really constructive discussion about a range of issues affecting communities across our borough, including:
🏍️ E-bike and e-scooter related crime
🚘 Vehicle crime and car break-ins
🔥 The recent wildfires
🛒 Shoplifting
🚓 How neighbourhood policing is being delivered across Walsall
These regular meetings are an important opportunity to raise the concerns residents share with me directly with senior police officers and to make sure our local priorities are being heard.
If there’s an issue you’d like me to raise at a future meeting, please email me [email protected]
