The Midlands Rail Hub is crucial for fostering business growth in my Aldridge-Brownhills Constituency. That’s why, in Parliament, I emphasised the significance of Aldridge Train Station and our progress to achieve this alongside former Mayor Andy Street.
I am pleased that the Minister of State for Transport has pledged to support the Midlands Rail Hub, ensuring that Aldridge Station remains a vital link in the open access route from Wales to London Euston, with a stop at Aldridge.
I am confident that the new Mayor of the West Midlands will support me and my Aldridge-Brownhills residents in advocating for Aldridge Train Station and exploring the numerous benefits it will bring to this part of the Borough and the wider West Midlands.
