I was delighted to officially open the refurbished Crown Inn in Aldridge last week and toast the reopening following their £600,000 refurbishment.
It is excellent news for Aldridge to have such a major investment in our local pub. The design and facilities are outstanding. Good pubs play an important social role as gathering places for the communities they serve and The Crown Inn looks set to continue to be an important part of our local Village life.
It was great to meet the licensee Geoff Bramley and his team and see the refurbishment first-hand.
