The Labour Government must listen to Motorists!

Many of us have been urging the Government to listen to motorists, to take action and scrap the planned fuel duty rise.

We hear they are poised to back down. Such an announcement will be welcome news for drivers, families and businesses who are already facing pressure from Rachel Reeves’ and Labours Plan to hike fuel duty for diesel and petrol.

Like many people up and down the country, residents across Aldridge-Brownhills rely on their cars every day – whether commuting to work, running local businesses, caring for family members or simply getting from A to B. Keeping costs down for motorists matters!

I have consistently supported measures that back drivers and recognise the realities of daily life for people who depend on their vehicles.

Rest assured I will continue standing up for residents and holding the Labour Government to account on the issues that matter most!
