Sadly the planned Great British Spring Clean organised throughout March and April had to be postponed because of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it is great news that it will return later this month from 11th to 27th September.
The annual clean brings together individuals, community organisations, businesses and councils to make a difference to the environment on our doorstep. The Great British September Clean is an opportunity for the millions of people who care about the environment on their doorstep to do something positive that will make a visible difference.
Throughout this year’s campaign I will be out and about across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency helping to clear some of those litter hotspots with the volunteers who work so hard week in and week out to keep our community clean.
