I was pleased to participate in a Westminster Hall debate yesterday on Hospice care.
It gave the opportunity to speak about one of our local hospices, Acorns, and highlight their fantastic work.
However, I also wanted to put on record in front of the Government Minister my support to ensure that the hospice sector receive Government assistance with the rising cost of energy.
Acorns and other hospices do amazing work and I believe we have a responsibility to the sector to assist with these exceptional circumstances.
