What an absolutely fantastic day at Streetly Academy for the Streetly Dementia Support Community Fun Day. Huge thanks to Simon Hollier and Katie Hollier who alongside staff members from school organised this event, and to the many volunteers who also helped out.
It was great to watch the netball, and football, whilst enjoying live music and to see the community come together for a day of fun with friends and family.
I’m conscious many local businesses also supported the event too, not least with raffle prizes, and I was so pleased to learn that over £1600 was raised to help those living with Dementia.
