Our high streets are the heart of our communities, but they are under real pressure.
In Parliament this week, I spoke up for Brownhills High Street, highlighting the challenges facing local businesses, from rising costs to the impact of the recent sinkhole and why it’s so important that we all support our independent shops.
I also called on the Minister to meet with me to discuss the Pride in Place project and the long-awaited regeneration of Brownhills.
If we want thriving high streets, we need to back the businesses that keep them alive.
