This year, I once again invited local photographic and camera clubs to submit photographs for me to consider for the Christmas Card I am sending to local businesses, schools, community groups and individuals – including, of course, the Prime Minister.
I was delighted that the Aldridge Photographic Society accepted this invitation, and took up the challenge! Selecting a favourite was never going to be an easy task, as I am sure you can appreciate, however after much deliberation the winning entry this year was from Peter Bissell.
Peter’s winning design beautifully depicted Aldridge Parish Church in the snow and shows Aldridge in all of its winter splendour.
It was a pleasure to welcome everyone who entered the competition to a reception earlier this month and my special thanks to everyone who took the time to enter this year’s Christmas Card competition.
