It was a pleasure to host the first Aldridge-Brownhills Seniors’ Fair at Aldridge Community Centre last Friday and to be able to welcome and chat with so many local residents who popped in.
This was the first event of its kind locally and the response was phenomenal with more than 40 organisations from across our area showcasing their services.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in the event and made it such a huge success. I would also like to particularly thank Jennifer Ashe & Son for sponsoring our programme and the publicity of the event and also the staff and committee of Aldridge Community Centre for the use of the centre.
With more than 500 people in attendance it was a magnificent morning and I would like to also thank everyone who took the time to come along.
I am already looking forward to the second Aldridge-Brownhills Seniors’ Fair.
