It’s Scam Awareness Fortnight – and we are currently mid way through this important campaign that is supported by the Citizens Advice Bureau.
This annual event shines a spotlight on creating networks to consumers to be able to spot a scam.
Protecting people against scams is more important than ever. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic there are many people who are facing their own difficult circumstances and none of us want scammers to take advantage of this, so it is important that people have the tools to protect themselves.
There are many actions which we can all take to report the scammers, share our own personal stories and help to raise more awareness of scams to safeguard ourselves and others.
