It was brilliant to be able to join the Rotary Club of Aldridge’s 70th Charter Dinner recently at Fairlawns Hotel.
What a wonderful evening we had celebrating the work of the Club, spanning 70 years of service and putting others first. Whether it’s fundraising for so many good causes or volunteering at local events, the yellow tabards of Aldridge Rotarians are a regular sight in and around the village. Many congratulations to Rotarian Bob Cooke who was awarded the Paul Harris Fellows Award – well done Bob and well deserved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.
It was good to be joined by the Mayor of Walsall Cllr Louise Harrison, and local Cllr Tim Wilson too. Also Rotarians from other clubs, and many friends.
Many thanks to Club President Brian Wheat and all those who worked tirelessly to organise the evening,
