It was a pleasure to join a group of pupils at Brownhills West Primary School and one of the Aldridge Rotarians to hear all about the new RotaKids Club.
The initiative to set up RotaKids, brings together pupils, teaching staff and Rotarians, and as I saw at Brownhills West Primary, it is an excellent way to raise awareness of local issues and projects.
I was particularly impressed to hear how the group had identified concerns over road safety on Shannon Drive, and how they had also come up with ideas to seek to address this problem. It was an excellent presentation and they should be commended on their hard work.
