Friday night was pantomime time! An evening of fun and entertainment at the fabulous opening night of ‘Robinson Crusoe’ at Aldridge Youth Theatre.

Once again we were superbly entertained with some good pantomime fun, written by the talented Neville Ellis and superbly directed by Alex Fisher. Every pantomime needs a dame and we were certainly not disappointed by the colourful Dame Clara Crusoe. Together with stars including Robinson Crusoe (Madeline Eaton), Percy Poop (Finlay Carter) and Bonny from Bloxwich (Olivia Porter), it was a splendid evening. Well Done Everyone!

The Aldridge Youth Theatre and all of its budding young actors and actresses together with all of the volunteers who work in the background, are an inspiration to us all for the work they do. It was a pleasure to be in the audience once again.

Robinson Crusoe is this year celebrating its 300th anniversary and one thing is certain – Aldridge Youth Theatre did it proud! – ‘Oh Yes they did!’.
