One of the top issues raised with me by local residents, both in my inbox and out on the doorstep – is the sudden, deeply concerning rise in planning applications for Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMOs).
I asked if the government truly believes that dumping asylum seekers into HMOs within our established local communities is the answer to their immigration failures.
