I’ve joined more than 100 MPs from across Parliament in signing a letter to the Chief Executive of Lloyds Banking Group, urging them to restore cheque deposit services at Post Offices and Banking Hubs.
While we no longer have a bank of Lloyds in Aldridge, many residents across Aldridge-Brownhills continue to rely on being able to deposit cheques conveniently and securely and use the Post Office.
For many people, those who are less comfortable with digital banking, cheques remain an important way of managing their finances. They should not be left behind!
That’s why I’m calling on Lloyds to listen to these concerns and think again and restore cheque deposits at Post Offices.
