With Covid-19 continuing to affect so many aspects of our lives it will unfortunately also have an impact upon our Act of Remembrance next month.
However, I know that right across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency innovative ways are being found to be able to bring us all together virtually to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.
In Pelsall, the Covid-19 pandemic has certainly not dampened the spirits of Cllr Garry Perry and members of POPRS (Preservation of Pelsall Remembrance) who last weekend decorated the village, with poppies and spitfires to commemorate the 80th Anniersary of the Battle of Britain.
This year’s display is stunning and really does show the tremendous sense of community spirit that we have locally. Well done and thank you all.
