It was a pleasure to visit RED Industries in Brownhills and see first-hand the fantastic work they do in sustainable waste management and hazardous waste cleaning.
I was impressed not only by the scale of their operations, but also by their commitment to protecting our environment through innovative recycling and waste management solutions. It was fascinating to learn more about how materials such as paint and aerosols can be safely processed, recycled and reused, helping to reduce waste and support a more sustainable future.
What stood out most was the team’s passion for engaging with young people, helping to educate the next generation about environmental responsibility and the importance of recycling.
Businesses such as RED Industries play an important role in our local economy, providing skilled jobs while leading the way in environmental innovation. It was good to hear more about their work and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.
