Protecting Our Precious Green Belt

I was pleased to be able to join residents at the weekend at the Little Aston Residents Meeting at Streetly Community Centre.

The proposed development of 100 homes on the Green Belt at Little Aston Park Road will have a major impact on Streetly residents particularly with regards to traffic flow on Hardwick Road and Thornhill Road.

It was good to hear the views of local residents, and I was pleased that Streetly Councillor Amanda Parkes was also able to join me at the meeting.

I will be making my objections to this proposed development, but I am only one voice, and I need all of you to make your representations as well.

As the proposed development falls just outside the boundary of Walsall Borough Council all representations should be made to Lichfield District Council.

The proposal can be found on Lichfield District Council website: – Planning Application Ref: 26/00425/OUTM
