I was delighted to be able to attend the recent event held by Cat’s Protection to highlight cat welfare issues.
With 11 million pet cats in the UK, cats are undoubtedly one of the UK’s most popular pets.

As a nation of pet lovers, I recently raised with the Leader of the House of Commons the need for the Government to bring back our legislation on the Animal Welfare Bill. The proposed Bill will improve welfare standards through a wide range of measures for pets, farmed and kept wild animals.
