I had a great time joining Cllr Garry Perry and volunteers in Pelsall on Saturday.
The Pelsall Litter Busters and Friends of Pelsall Common were joined by “plant Up” volunteers and made a real impact in keeping the village tidy, as well as colourful for the summer.
The dedication and hard work of volunteers such as these, and the many others right across my constituency, is there for everyone to see all year round and this was another shining example of volunteering in action and of communities working together.
There were many donations of plants, and support from our local businesses too, and not forgetting the Village Centre, and those who helped provide watering cans and water, and much needed orange squash!
