It was great to be out and about across Streetly this morning and supporting our local retailers on Independent’s Day.
A day to celebrate the diversity of our High Streets and the independent retailers who offer choice, diversity of products and services as well as tradition.
Across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency we are lucky to have a number of independent retailers who make up our High Streets and Village Centres.
A lot of our retailers have been forced to close their doors for many weeks as a result of Covid-19 and for some today is their first day of trading, so it was good to be out and about and hearing how they were doing. It was also good to have the first haircut for 14-weeks!!!
Thank you to all our independent retailers who have made their premises a safe environment for us all.
