Newly published economic data shows that unemployment is at a new 40-year low and is only 2% in Aldridge-Brownhills. Public Sector Borrowing is at its lowest level since 2000, there is improved economic growth and we now have the highest number of first time buyers for more than a decade.
All of this demonstrates that this Government is dealing with the challenges that our country faces and building a Britain fit for the future where the economy works for all hard-working families.
As we prepare for Brexit, it is important that we listen to the small businesses and manufacturers who are helping to drive the economic growth, job creation and wage security across the West Midlands.
I am therefore keen to hear from businesses across the constituency and would be delighted if they would join me for my Annual Aldridge-Brownhills Constituency Business Breakfast on Friday 9 March. To obtain further details, and reserve a place, local businesses should contact my constituency office on 01922 452228 or e-mail me at wendy.morton.mp@parliament.uk”.
