Thank you to Tim, Tina and Brian for meeting with me on-site to discuss the ongoing issues with off-road bikes across Brownhills, particularly on the Common and in Holland Park.️
Being out on the ground puts into perspective the immense nuisance and distress these off-road bikes cause to our local community. Our green spaces should be safe and peaceful for everyone to enjoy. While there are no overnight fixes, I am actively seeking action to tackle this anti-social behaviour.
I will be contacting Walsall Council to explore what further support can be provided to protect our parks, and I will be raising these specific concerns directly with our local policing team at my next meeting. I am also looking for opportunities to raise the wider issue of illegal off-road biking in Parliament.
