It was good to meet with local farmers and the National Farmers Union and discuss many of the issues affecting farming locally and nationally. It’s important that we back British food and British farming.

Before the end of term I also had the chance to visit St John’s Primary school in Walsall Wood. I heard about their highly successful and popular production of Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat and saw some of their fantastic artwork on display.

Friday evening was spent at the Air Cadets Dining-In, an opportunity to join 1444 (Brownhills) Squadron and celebrate their successes and achievements during the year. It was a chance for me to learn more about all the activities they are involved in too.
