A planning application has now been submitted by Walsall Council for a new Civic Square on Brownhills High Street.

The new Civic Square near to Kwik Fit on the High Street will provide an open space for market stalls, benches, children’s play equipment and a central space for a Christmas tree to be enjoyed by residents from right across Brownhills.

It will be a great new addition to the High Street and has been put forward by Councillors Stephen Craddock and Ken Ferguson who have worked on the proposals.

There is still more work to do, but this is an important first step towards the wider regeneration of the High Street and by working with Mayor Andy Street and Walsall Council we hope to soon have further news about our plans for Ravenscourt.
