I was rather alarmed at the news that Natwest in Aldridge Village is due to close at the end of July.
This decision will mean that there is only one bank left in the whole of my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency.
I have requested a meeting with Natwest representatives to discuss this matter and I am also applying for a Debate on this topic in the House of Commons.
Whilst I appreciate this is an operational decision, I intend to impress on representatives that not everybody uses mobile banking and that the bank must ensure that there are services in place for their closure.
