This week is Mental Health Awareness Week.
Mental health problems can affect anyone and Mental Health Awareness Week is a good time to have a chat with a friend, family member or colleague. It is also a good time to have a think about our own wellbeing too.
I was very pleased to be able to drop into Mental Health UK’s event in Parliament yesterday to hear first-hand about the vital work that they do in trying to end the stigma around mental health.
The theme this year is loneliness, and we want to inspire everyone to share their stories of times they have experienced loneliness using the hashtag – #IveBeenThere.
