I was pleased to be able to attend the ‘Mayor’s Manor Ball’ on Saturday at Rushall Community Centre, and enjoy “Memories throughout the Decades”. Organised by Manor Farm Community Association. It was a lovely afternoon of music, entertainment, and activities and I enjoyed chatting to lots of residents who were enjoying the event, including The Motivation Hub CIC.
For the second year running the West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street held his Mayor’s Community Weekend across the West Midlands with more than 160 events taking place, supported by over £80,000 of National Lottery funding.
This year the events celebrated our local communities, the diversity within them and brought together local people from all walks of life to help build stronger community bonds and break down the barriers of loneliness, whilst boosting mental wellbeing. It was good to see Manor Farm Community Association being part of this.
