Last week Mayor Andy Street unveiled his budget worth more than £900 million across the West Midlands to support infrastructure, regeneration and job training schemes.
The new investment, including £116 million for the remediation of brownfield land, which will help protect acres of green belt land and £142 million to level up skills will help all of us in the West Midlands take the steps towards an effective recovery following the Covid-19 pandemic.
For the 4th year, Mayor Andy Street is managing to rollout his annual budget without adding an extra penny to people’s Council Tax bills in my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency.
