I felt very honoured to be invited to speak at the launch of the Full Circle initiative launched last week at the Town Hall by the James Brindley Foundation. The Full Circle programme seeks to help tackle youth offending head on by providing an opportunity to be able to make a positive difference for our society through seeking to address the root causes of anti-social behaviour, that in some instances all too tragically, lead to violent crime.
I commend those who have been involved in developing this programme, and in particular the family for their bravery and commitment to create something which can help young people make better decisions and clear choices.
