Improving Rushall Junction

I know from many of you just how frustrating the Rushall junction can be. Whether it’s the long queues at peak times, safety concerns for those crossing the road, or the “red-light runners”. It is clear that the current setup isn’t working for our community.

Walsall Council is currently consulting on a new design for the junction where Lichfield Road, Station Road, Daw End Lane, and Pelsall Lane meet. This is a vital part of our local road network, and I want to ensure that any future changes truly reflect the needs of those who live and work here.

The proposals aim to:

✅ Tackle those heavy traffic delays

✅ Improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists

✅ Reduce the number of collisions at this busy spot on the road

Time is running out to have your say! The closing date for responses is 23:59 on Friday 20 March 2026. Please do take a few minutes to look at the preferred design and share your feedback. Alternatively visit Rushall Hub (former library), Pelsall Lane, on Thursday 12 March between 14:00 -19:00 where officers will be present to answer questions.
