I had a lovely time dropping into Linking Lives Aldridge last week when Mo from Animals in Hands came to visit – literally bringing the zoo straight to us for some animal encounters with a difference – including a tarantula, a snake and so much more!
The was all part of the excellent ‘Holiday at Home’ programme that Linking Lives Aldridge has been running once again this summer at Aldridge Methodist Church. It is such a wonderful initiative bringing as it does our community together, and it was lovely to have a catch-up with so many familiar faces and welcome new ones too.
Many thanks to Elaine and her fantastic team of volunteers for all the hard work they put into organising these activities – not just for the summer, but throughout the entire year, for the benefit of our local community!
