In 2025 I was delighted to have celebrated my tenth anniversary as your Member of Parliament and like every year since 2015 it has been action packed and memorable on so many levels.
The one thing that has not changed in the last decade is the strength and sense of community spirit shown by all of you, that is clear everywhere I go, week in and week out, across the whole of this constituency.
I know 2026 will be another busy year!
I will continue to stand up for all of you and defend the interests of all the residents of Aldridge-Brownhills in Parliament, on the issues which matter to you. However, we know that our biggest fight this year will be to defend our precious Green Belt and Open Spaces.
There is no doubt our Green Belt is now under threat from scrupulous developers seeking to take advantage of this ridiculous term ‘Grey Belt’. As your Member of Parliament, I will not accept this, and I stand shoulder to shoulder with all of you to defend our Green Belt.
I will of course be keeping you updated throughout the year.
However, I need you to support me throughout 2026 to defend our Green Belt sites for the benefit of future generations and our local area. As part of keeping, you updated I would like you to join my new regular e-newsletter subscription list, launching later this month. It will inform you of my campaigning activity.

I am proud to be your representative in Parliament and represent our local area. Throughout 2026 I will once again be out and about, supporting local events, organisations and businesses and I look forward to meeting you all.
