From today, the law is being strengthened to make social gatherings of over six people illegal to help us combat Covid-19.
As a country we have collectively made huge sacrifices since March and we have consistently followed the scientific and medical advice to beat this disease. The current rise in Coronavirus cases across the United Kingdom in recent weeks means the disease is still too prevalent in too many communities and we need to take action to ensure we protect our families and loved ones.
