It was great to be out and about last weekend in Rushall and Streetly with Councillors and local Campaigners to take part in the Great British September Clean.
This Keep Britain Tidy initiative has once again brought together individuals, community organisations, businesses and councils to make a difference to the environment on our doorstep.
The GB September Clean has also been an opportunity for people who care about the environment locally to do something positive that will make a visible difference, as well as being a reminder of the ongoing work of the many local groups and individuals who help keep our local environment tidy.
So I was delighted to once again play my part with my team. I would also like to thank Clean and Green at Walsall Council for helping support our clean up.
