It was a busy first week back at the House of Commons after recess and I had the opportunity to be a “Teller” – and count the “Aye” votes after a debate in the Chamber. A very interesting new experience!
Back at home in the Constituency I enjoyed my visit to Little Rascals Nursery in Aldridge. I met with staff and had a wonderful tour round the nursery and the garden.
St George’s Day at Streetly Library kicked off with a super coffee morning thanks to the OWLS (Our Wonderful Library). There were lots of cakes, face painting, singing and the most amazing bubble machine! After coffee at the Library it was then across the road to the Open Day at Streetly Vets with Streetly Cllr, Eddie Hughes, to meet Dr Cora and Dr Jamie at their new practice and have a look behind the scenes. We also met “Dave” their first patient!
