Family Businesses are the lifeblood of local communities nationwide, and in my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency, they serve as the foundation of our High Streets, Village Centres, and Industrial Estates. While many businesses have encountered significant challenges in recent years and uncertainties still lie ahead, the community’s desire to support our local hubs remains strong.
I would like to give a special mention to The Walsall Music Den, located in Pelsall. This family-run business is thriving and is often referred to as the “Aladdin’s Cave” of music shops, nestled right in the heart of Pelsall Village. Their close family ties enable them to take pride in providing customers with a personal touch in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
As someone who set up a family business, I understand the risks and challenges that come with this journey. Since first being elected in 2015, I have had the honour of meeting numerous small and family-owned businesses that are dedicated to serving their customers, expanding their operations, and actively enhancing employment opportunities for local residents. Thank you to you all!
