Walsall Council have reopened the Discretionary Grants Programme so that local businesses have a second chance to submit their applications for support, but businesses need to apply quickly as this round will close at 17:00 on Tuesday 14 July.
The first round of grants received almost 300 applications and will be distributing over £1.3 million to local businesses who applied for grants up to £10,000. Those who were successful included; businesses in shared accommodation, or no registered premises, registered charities, together with employers who demonstrated hardship due to COVID-19.
