Cooper and Jordan C of E Primary School Visit

It was a real pleasure to visit Cooper and Jordan C of E Primary School in Aldridge and meet with Mr Ingle to discuss their exciting plans following a successful bid for new nursery classroom provision.

What stood out most during my visit was the school’s clear commitment to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive from their very earliest years. This investment will make a real difference here in Aldridge.

I was also touched by the heartwarming story of Ian Preston, the local lollipop man, whose kindness has left a lasting impression on so many families in the community. From taking time to chat with children on a difficult day to spreading joy every morning, Ian’s dedication is a reminder of the impact small acts of kindness can have – and it’s wonderful to see the school and local community recognising his contribution.

Thank you to all the staff for the warm welcome – and I look forward to seeing these plans come to life!
