Clocking Up the Miles – Annual RBL Poppy Ride

The charity bike ride was once again held in Portcullis House, Parliament and pitched Politicians alongside Armed Forces Professionals to raise money and awareness for this year’s Poppy Appeal.
In my allotted 5-minutes of cycling I notched up just over 2km, not quite beating some of my fellow athletic Parliamentary colleagues, but certainly not the bottom of the leader board!

The Annual Poppy Ride was once again a great event in which MPs from across the House were encouraged to participate, and all of the money raised on the day goes to help The Royal British Legion provide lifelong support for our Armed Forces community.
