Resource management company Veolia, recently hosted their National Apprentice of the Year awards at the House of Commons. The company, which employs over 300 apprentices, saw Chelsea Dale-Bentley, who lives in Brownhills amongst the finalists of their national awards.

I was pleased to be able to join Chelsea at the awards ceremony and add my congratulations to her on receiving several awards, and especially the prestigious Apprentice of the Year Award.

It was fantastic to see a local apprentice amongst the handful of national finalists who then went on to win the principal award. I was hugely impressed by the real passion and energy that Chelsea showed for her role and I hope that she continues to succeed with her apprenticeship. It is great that Veolia have taken on so many apprentices and can see the value and benefit they bring to their business.
