One of the most noticeable hardships that so many of my Aldridge-Brownhills constituents have found themselves facing, especially during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, was the closure of Places of Worship.

So I was delighted to join Reverend Elizabeth Dunning, Cllr Garry Perry and members of the congregation of Pelsall Methodist Church yesterday for a special service to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Earlier this summer I was pleased to be able to visit Pelsall Methodist Church to welcome and celebrate the grant award for their new roof and so I was delighted that upon returning to mark the 50th anniversary celebrations the work has now been completed.

Thank you so much to Reverend Dunning and all the members of the congregation for inviting me to your very special anniversary celebrations.
