It’s always a pleasure catching up with Jat from Walsall College.
It was good to hear of the latest developments at the college, and to learn more about how the college responds to local demand, ensuring investment directly supports students and meets regional skill needs.
We had a great discussion about their successful apprenticeship programme, which is pushing essential hands-on skills. Walsall College is one of the largest apprenticeship providers in the West Midlands, offering training from Level 2 right through to degree-level apprenticeships. Their vocational achievement rate stands at around 91%, with many students progressing directly into employment or further study – a testament to their quality and impact.
