🌞 In the glorious sunshine of this weekend we saw historic boats, trading boats and private canal boats come together once again at the Brownhills Canal Festival, along with stalls, musical entertainment and the Brookhouse Shires – such gentle giants 🐴🐴.
Organised by the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust this annual event has become a firm favourite of so many of us, and continues to go from strength to strength.
I had a fabulous time, chatting with stallholders and some of the many volunteers and groups who were there, including the Thomas Project, and the Canal and River Trust.
It was an opportunity to drop by and see Andy and Helen at 🌿 Wild Side aboard The Jam Boat who produce the most incredible fine jams, marmalades and preserves – Sloe Gin Fizz Marmalade being my all time favourite 🌿🍊. And of course I can never resist stopping by 🩷Fairy Good Cakes & Aunty Lanes Rocky Road! 🧁 😊
