I am pleased that Walsall Council have now announced that they will be able to resume the regular fortnightly garden waste collections with effect from 15th June. The resumption of the service will have no impact on our fortnightly residual waste and recycling collections.
As many of us will be taking the opportunity through lock down to spring clean in our gardens this decision combined with the re-opening of our Household Waste Recycling Centre in Aldridge will be welcome news to all residents.
I would like to re-iterate my thanks to all the key workers at Walsall Council who have kept our essential services running throughout these unprecedented times.
