It was fantastic to meet one of The Wombles in Parliament recently and show my support for their brilliant #BeMoreWomble campaign – a perfect opportunity to shout loud and proud about our incredible local litter pickers across Aldridge-Brownhills! 🧹✨
We are so fortunate to have dedicated groups such as the Pelsall Wombles and the Pheasey Park Farm Litter Pickers, who are always out and about keeping our area tidy. Come rain or shine, these volunteers are out in all weathers, ensuring we can all take pride in our local community.
I also want to give a special mention to the many brilliant individuals, such as Bev Cooper, Shokt Fazal, Martin Collins, and Mike Hawes, who quietly do so much fantastic work on their own doorsteps.
🙌 Thank you to everybody across Aldridge-Brownhills for doing your bit to support our local community. You are absolute heroes!
